Justin Dugan brings you a sneak peek at Ford’s future GT500 Mustang release

In this episode of AmericanMuscle’s Mustang News, Justin Dugan brings you a sneak peek at Ford’s future GT500 Mustang release. Just last week, a leaked document from Ford confirmed the rumors for the upcoming 2019 GT500 Mustang and revealed that it would be powered by a 5.2L Supercharged Predator Engine. Looking to compete with Dodge in the horsepower race, the GT500 aims to be very competitive, pushing the 800+ horsepower category. Along with the leaked images of the heavily camouflaged car and Predator engine, we got a peek of some beefy brakes. The larger diameter rotor and heavy duty calipers are hard to determine actual size but by visual comparison to some small hands, we would say they should have no problems slowing this ‘Stang down.

If you were wondering about what Ford has planned for the 50th Anniversary of Steve McQueen’s 1968 Bullitt, say no more fam! You can catch a glimpse at the 50th anniversary Mustang Bullitt with the iconic dark green paint and Torque-thrust style wheels in this episode of Mustang News, found below.
