GMS Racing NXS Charlotte Roval Preview

Spencer Gallagher, No. 23 Allegiant Chevrolet Camaro
Charlotte Roval Xfinity Stats
This will be Gallagher’s first start on the Roval at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Notes:

-Gallagher and the No. 23 team will utilize chassis no. 214. This chassis has been raced twice this year at Watkins Glen International by A.J. Allmendinger (start: 4th/finish: 2nd) and at Road America by NASCAR Hall of Famer, Bill Elliott (Start: 23rd/Finish: 20th).

Quote:

“I have been studying and watching all of the on-track footage that I can get my hands on from the Cup guys that tested there a while back. I believe it will be similar to Mid-Ohio but even smaller and tighter. I already think that Mid-Ohio is small for a stock-car so I can’t imagine what the Roval will be like. You will for sure see some beating and banging. I definitely want to stay towards the front of the field because the further back you get the crazier it will get.”
