TOYOTA QUOTES

KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 M&M’s Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Qualifying Position: 9th
How does the car feel and what is your outlook for the race tomorrow?
“The M&M’s Camry is alright and we certainly qualified better that we expected to. The guys that qualified good are the ones you would expect to. Not too bad all things considering. Hopefully its just good for the first stage to be able to be up front and hopefully we can stay up front, stay out of trouble and get some stage points up there early.”

DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 FedEx Ground Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Qualifying Position: 10th
How was your qualifying run?
“It was good. Everything was smooth. To get in the final round is good. You never know until drop the green flag for this race. Looking forward to, especially in the position we are in. We’re going to go out there and try to get a victory and not worry about any points or anything like that. We can have fun out here.”

Did you get a group run or do anything that will help for tomorrow?
“You can try to simulate it but when you get three or four cars together, you can’t simulate the three or four-wide situations you might be in tomorrow. You rely on old knowledge and hopefully it all works out.”

MARTIN TRUEX JR, No. 78 5-hour ENERGY/Bass Pro Shops Toyota Camry, Furniture Row Racing
Qualifying Position: 11th
Did you feel you were able to pickup some speed between the first and second rounds of qualifying?

“You always want to make the second round and you hope you can do a little better. We thought we picked up some speed and we gained one spot, beat the 17 (Ricky Stenhouse Jr.). Better than none and we’ll go get them tomorrow.”
