Busy Week Ahead For Cole Glasson As He Prepares For ARCA Debut

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – (Oct. 16, 2018) – It’s going to be an incredibly busy week for 18-year-old Cole Glasson, who is scheduled to make his ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards debut this Friday at Kansas Speedway.

Glasson, who will drive the No. 33 AM Technical Solutions Chevrolet for Win-Tron Racing in Friday’s Kansas ARCA 150, has been keeping busy during his first semester of college at Liberty University. This week he will turn his attention back to the race track as he prepares for the most important start of his racing career.

“It’s been a busy few months getting up to speed at Liberty University, but in the back of my mind it’s been hard not to think about this opportunity with Win-Tron Racing at Kansas Speedway,” Glasson said. “To say I’m excited would be a pretty big understatement and I can’t wait to make my ARCA Racing Series debut.”

Fans can watch Friday’s ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Kansas ARCA 150 live on FS2 beginning at 7:30 p.m. EST.

The young Texan and McCallister Precision Marketing client recently added two new partners who will support him during his ARCA Racing Series debut.

The first is Sparrow Ranch on the Island, a ministry located in York, S.C, founded by Rick Teal that specializes in worship and fellowship for people with special needs and their families. Sparrow Ranch on the Island will be an associate sponsor on his No. 33 Chevrolet this Friday at Kansas Speedway.

“After speaking with Cole and I could tell he had passion for racing and life, yet it was clear to me that Jesus Christ was first in his heart,” Teal said. “That made it an easy decision for Sparrow Ranch to partner with this young man. My ultimate plan is to put a Sparrow Ranch in every state in the country and what better way to get the message out there then to partner with a fine young man like Cole.”

Also joining Glasson for Friday’s Kansas ARCA 150 will be 201 Go-Kart Speedway located in New Boston, Texas. Owned by Roger Lynch, the karting facility includes a one-tenth-mile oval with an adjoining sprint course that offers racers of all ages and levels a chance to race.

“It’s exciting to see young people, like Cole, work his way to the top levels of racing,” said Christy Walls, 201 Go-Kart Speedway public relations. “Ryan (Lynch, son of Roger) and Cole have been MPM teammates for several years. They both got their racing careers started in karting and it proved to be a launching pad for them to be able to move up and race into some of the nation’s best asphalt series like CARS, ARCA and NASCAR. With the help of Tonya at MPM, Ryan got his first ARCA start in 2011 and we thought it was only fitting to team back up and help fellow MPM client, Cole, as he makes his ARCA debut at Kansas.”

Adding to Glasson’s busy schedule, following Friday’s race at Kansas Speedway he will fly directly to North Carolina in order to join Lee Faulk Racing and Development for Saturday’s rescheduled Fall Brawl season finale at historic Hickory Motor Speedway.

Driving his usual No. 5 that will also carry sponsorship from Sparrow Ranch on the Island, Glasson is hoping to close out the season at Hickory with his first late model stock car triumph.

“It’ll definitely be a busy week for me,” said Glasson. “I want to make sure I complete all the laps at Kansas for Win-Tron Racing and earn the best finish I can, but then I’ll need to get on the plane and fly to North Carolina to race for Lee Faulk Racing and Development at Hickory in the Fall Brawl. We’ve been so close to a win at Hickory all year and I think this Saturday could finally be our day. Thanks to my family for supporting me through this wild journey and thanks to AM Technical Solutions and all of my partners for their support over these last few months.”

Cole Glasson’s No. 33 Win-Tron Racing Chevrolet will feature his partners Sparrow Ranch on the Island, AM Technical Soultions and 201 Go-Kart Speedway.
