Lee Faulk Racing and Development Launching Legends Car Program

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – COLUMBIA, S.C. – (Jan. 23, 2019) – Lee Faulk Racing and Development is expanding its operations to include fielding Legends cars.

The team, which regularly fields super late models, late model stocks and limited late models for drivers at track across the Southeast, will begin fielding a Legends car developmental team later this year.

“This has been something we’ve discussed adding to our program for a year or two now,” said Lee Faulk Racing and Development’s Michael Faulk. “We have a lot of young drivers that come through our program that have Legends car experience, so adding an in-house Legends car program makes a lot of sense for us.”

Founded by team namesake Lee Faulk, the team originally began fielding developmental entries in the mid-2000s. Among those who have turned laps in Lee Faulk Racing and Development entries over the years are NASCAR Cup Series stars Kyle Larson and Ricky Stenhouse Jr., Haas F1 Team reserve driver Pietro Fittipaldi, reigning NHRA Pro Stock champion Tanner Gray and NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race winner Anthony Alfredo.

The current Lee Faulk Racing and Development team of drivers include brothers Nolan and Brody Pope, Cole Glasson, Ryan Vargas, Hannah Bell and Ryan Rackley.

The team plans to announce the first driver for its Legends car program in the near future.

“This is a great opportunity for us to expand our horizons,” said Michael Faulk. “The Legends car division is among the most competitive divisions in the country and we look forward to growing our program and offer another way for our drivers to learn and make laps with the best racers in the country.”
