Hendrick Motorsports welcomes AdvoCare as official sponsor in 2019 and 2020

NUTRITION PARTNER TO SPOTLIGHT ELITE PIT CREW ATHLETES

CONCORD, N.C. (Feb. 7, 2019) – AdvoCare, a health and wellness company that builds champions through physical and financial wellness, has joined Hendrick Motorsports as its Official Nutrition Partner through the 2020 NASCAR season.

The two-year agreement will see AdvoCare’s suite of innovative nutritional and sports performance products used by Hendrick Motorsports’ pit crews competing in the premier NASCAR Cup Series. AdvoCare will receive brand placement in the team’s human performance areas, including its gym, training center, pit stop practice area and athletic field. The company will also work with Hendrick Motorsports to develop digital content and promotional programs.

The 2019 NASCAR season kicks off this month with Daytona Speedweeks, which culminate with the 61st running of the prestigious DAYTONA 500 on Sunday, Feb. 17 (2:30 p.m. ET on FOX).

“AdvoCare has a long history with motor sports, and we are beyond thrilled to continue that legacy through a two-year sponsorship with Hendrick Motorsports as the Official Nutrition Partner,” said Allison Levy, executive vice president and chief legal counsel with AdvoCare. “We’re thrilled the team will have AdvoCare products on hand in the gym and on pit road during the season. We wish all four teams the best of luck at Daytona and beyond.”

Hendrick Motorsports has earned an all-time record 12 Cup Series titles and a modern-era record 252 race wins. The team has invested in recruiting high-performing athletes into its pit crew development program, building top-flight training facilities and employing an experienced staff of coaches, trainers and other personnel. Its crew members come from a variety of sports backgrounds and championship-level collegiate programs.

“Like Hendrick Motorsports, AdvoCare has long been committed to a high level of human performance in NASCAR,” said Patrick Perkins, vice president of marketing for Hendrick Motorsports. “They are a leader in health and wellness and have a terrific legacy in our sport over many years. We are proud to partner with AdvoCare and know their products will benefit our athletes and teams, from high-performance training to recovery. It’s a great fit for our organization.”

AdvoCare is Hendrick Motorsports’ 18th new partner or partnership renewal since January 2018.
