Kansas Collectively… Kris Wright and the Warranty Solutions race team touch down in Kansas City, Kan., for Round 20 of the 2026 NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) season. Kansas Speedway plays host to the Race to Stop Suicide 200, a race that sets up well for McAnally-Hilgemann Racing (MHR). Dating back to 2020, MHR has earned 11 top-10 finishes and five top-five finishes at the 1.5-mile circuit. MHR teammate Christian Eckes leads the team statistically with a win in the 2023 fall race and two third-place finishes in 2024. MHR has finished inside the top 10 at Kansas with seven different drivers over the six-year span. The No. 81 Warranty Solutions team looks to unload a fast truck and make its own mark in the heartland.
Wright’s Statsheet… Saturday’s race will mark Wright’s 10th start at Kansas Speedway across three different series. Wright earned a top-20 finish in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2022, made three NCTS starts from 2021-2023, and recorded four top-10 finishes in the ARCA Menards Series (AMS). The Pittsburgh, Pa., native finished fourth twice in the AMS in 2024 and 2025 while carrying an average finish of 7.8 across five total starts. Saturday will also mark Wright’s 49th NASCAR start at an intermediate track as he makes his fourth 1.5-mile start of the season.
Look Good, Feel Good, Play Good… Warranty Solutions is back on board the No. 81 truck with Kris Wright this weekend, but the partnership will have a fresh look. The No. 81 Chevrolet Silverado RST will be decked out in a new black-and-white paint scheme with blue accents. Warranty Solutions has been a key partner for Wright and has consistently been on board his race cars at Kansas Speedway. The new look will hit the track Saturday afternoon as Wright and the No. 81 team look to put Warranty Solutions up front in the heartland.
