Chevrolet Expands Donation Program to Five NASCAR Cup Series Races
DETROIT – The fight against breast cancer is getting a boost from the track this October as Chevrolet brings back its specially themed pink Corvette Stingray to pace the NASCAR Cup Series field at Talladega Superspeedway and Martinsville Speedway. 2026 marks Chevrolet’s 16th consecutive year partnering with the American Cancer Society in support of its ‘Making Strides Against Breast Cancer’ initiative.
The 2026 campaign expands Chevrolet’s donation program to five NASCAR Cup Series races. Chevrolet will donate $1,500 for each Team Chevy driver who finishes in the top-10 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Phoenix Raceway, Talladega Superspeedway and Martinsville Speedway, up to a total of $25,000 across the five-race program. In addition, Chevrolet will contribute $500 (up to $25,000) for each caution lap led by the pink Corvette Stingray pace car during the Cup Series races at Talladega and Martinsville. In 2025, Chevrolet raised more than $1.7 million for the American Cancer Society, including $32,500 generated through the NASCAR campaign.
“We are proud to continue standing alongside the American Cancer Society and everyone affected by breast cancer,” said Alyssa Haba, senior manager, Motorsports Marketing and Activation for Chevrolet. “Each October, our motorsports platform gives us a powerful opportunity to turn the visibility of NASCAR into meaningful support for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. With the pink Corvette Stingray returning to the track and donations tied to five Cup Series races, this year’s campaign creates more opportunities to make an impact and advance the fight against breast cancer.”
This year’s campaign will get underway at Las Vegas for the South Point 400 on Sunday, Oct. 4. The pink Corvette Stingray pace car will make its 2026 on-track debut for the Cup Series race at Talladega on Sunday, Oct. 25, before returning to pace the field on Sunday, Nov. 1, at Martinsville for the penultimate race of The Chase.
