RCR NCS Race Recap: Talladega Superspeedway

Strong Day For Austin Dillon and the No. 3 Get Bioethanol Chevrolet Team at Talladega Superspeedway

Finish: 11th
Start: 12th
Points: 25th

“That was a good finish this afternoon at Talladega Superspeedway for the No. 3 Get Bioethanol Chevrolet. Obviously we wish it would have been better, but the team needed that. Everyone worked throughout the race to dial in the balance of our car and it was there at the end. We made a strategy call to pit before the end of Stage 2 which gave us some much needed track position. Throughout the race I could run the top or bottom, but I struggled in the middle, that part of the track felt hard. We’ll take this and build on it and look to continue to end the season strong.” -Austin Dillon

Austin Hill and the No. 33 United Rentals Chevrolet Team Show Speed and Contend for the Win at Talladega Superspeedway

Finish: 14th
Start: 2nd
Points: 32nd

“We were close. Our United Rentals Chevrolet was good and we worked all day to put ourselves in a position at the end. Made moves when we had to, pushed and stayed in line when we needed to. The car had speed and I’m proud of the work the guys put in to qualify on the front row and have a shot at the win. Just lost power coming to the checkered.” -Austin Hill
