TURNER MOTORSPORTS NO. 30 IMPALA TO SPORT FRATERNAL ORDER OF EAGLES IN TWO UPCOMING RACES

James Buescher to pilot the No. 30 Fraternal Order of Eagles Chevrolet in the NASCAR Nationwide Series events at Iowa Speedway and Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (May 16, 2011) – Turner Motorsports is pleased to announce that longtime marketing partner, Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE), will take center stage as primary sponsor of the team’s No. 30 Chevrolet Impala in two upcoming NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) events. NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) young-gun, James Buescher, will pilot the Fraternal Order of Eagles Impala, extending his limited NNS schedule, to include both the May event at Iowa Speedway and the July event at Lucas Oil Raceway Park at Indianapolis.

A staple in the Nationwide Series garage, the FOE logo has adorned entries in the series in every race since 2005. Enhancing their racing program in 2011 with a stronger marketing push, the international non-profit organization will hold primary sponsorship in two races, in addition to a feature spot on all of Turner Motorsports’ NNS and NCWTS entries. The FOE colors have proved good luck for the organization’s drivers, with Kelly Bires bringing the FOE entry to a fifth-place finish at Iowa Speedway in 2009. Current Turner Motorsports driver, Jason Leffler, brought the FOE entry home in the runner-up spot at Bristol Motor Speedway last August.

Buescher, who drives full time in the NCWTS for Turner Motorsports, has made four NNS starts in 2011 with his best finish of eighth coming last week at Dover International Speedway. In 27 total NNS starts, Buescher has captured three top-10 finishes and two pole awards. The Plano, Texas-native is thrilled about the opportunity to represent the Eagles.

“I am extremely proud to be able to represent the Fraternal Order of Eagles on and off the track,” said Buescher. “We are extremely lucky to have the support of their more than 860,000 members each week, they are some the best fans we have! The FOE has a great track record as a primary sponsor, two top-five finishes is pretty impressive. I know that with the help of Stewart Cooper [crew chief] and the team, we will bring this FOE Chevrolet home with a solid finish. Hopefully we can get them into victory lane!”
