David Ragan – NSCS ADVANCE

Team:          No. 6 UPS Ford Fusion

Crew Chief:  Drew Blickensderfer

Chassis:      Primary: RK-744 Last ran All-Star race – finished eighth

Backup: RK-695 Last ran Phoenix in 2010 as the No. 99 – finished first

Ragan on racing at Michigan International Speedway: “Michigan is a fun place to visit and a track that we’ve been successful at in the past.  It’s a wide track that you can really maneuver around and has different grooves to race on.  Michigan is the home track for Roush Industries and Ford, so it would be great to get them a win in their backyard.”

Crew chief Drew Blickensderfer on racing at Michigan International Speedway: “Michigan is a track where David tends to run well and after strong runs at Texas, Charlotte and Kansas it should be a good weekend for us.  The Roush cars typically run well at Michigan and with this being Ford and Jack’s home track it gives us extra incentive to run well.  A good run at Michigan this weekend could move us up into the top 15 in points.”

FAST FACTS     * Ragan’s UPS Ford for Michigan is the same chassis that won the Sprint Showdown at Charlotte and went on to finish eighth in the All-Star race.     * Ragan has completed 99.8 percent of the laps he’s raced at Michigan in his eight starts.     * UPS employee John Rohlman will serve as an honorary member of the UPS race team at Michigan International Speedway. Rohlman is a 21-year HTD mechanic from Grand Rapids, Michigan and will have his name featured on the C-post of David Ragan’s No. 6 UPS Ford Fusion.
