Ragan on racing at Kentucky Speedway: “With Kentucky being a 1.5-mile track we have high expectations. It will be critical to use our test day Thursday wisely. It’s been a few years since I’ve been there in the Nationwide Series, so it will take a few laps to get back feeling comfortable there. Hopefully the momentum from Daytona will carry over into a good finish this weekend. With UPS’s Worldport being located in Louisville, we’ve got a lot of UPS employees in the area cheering for us.”
Crew chief Drew Blickensderfer on racing at Kentucky Speedway: “David has raced at Kentucky a few times in the Nationwide Series and 1.5-mile tracks have been good to us this year, so we are looking forward to this weekend. It will be exciting to see the Cup cars race at Kentucky for the first time. The car we are taking last ran at Charlotte and finished second, so we are hoping to improve that by one spot.
