Matt Kenseth – Crown Royal – Homestead Advance

Matt Kenseth – NSCS ADVANCE

Team:          No. 17 Crown Royal Ford Fusion

Crew Chief:  Jimmy Fennig

Chassis:      Primary: RK-741 (last run at Texas)

Kenseth on racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway:

“Homestead is one of the few tracks they did a really good job on it when it was redesigned with the changes they made. There are two good grooves and you can really pass there since there’s plenty of room. It is a great race track to race on, and one that most people look forward to going to every year because it is unique and challenging, but yet you can still pass. You can put a good race on there, and it’s a great place at the end of the year to crown all the champions.”

Crew chief Jimmy Fennig on racing at Homestead-Miami Speedway:

“Homestead is a place we only visit once a year so it’s a little difficult for us to prepare for since there aren’t many tracks similar to it that we visit on the circuit.  When they added the banking a few year ago, I think that it became a great track to watch a race at for the fans.  We have a strong performance history at Homestead for our Roush Fenway organization so our Crown Royal team will look to finish out the season strong in order to make up for some of the ground we lost the last few weeks.”
