Reutimann will drive the No. 10 Accell Construction Chevrolet in the Auto Club 400
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (March 20, 2012) – Oklahoma-based Accell Construction will return to the Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) No. 10 Chevrolet this weekend at Auto Club Speedway. David Reutimann will drive the No. 10 Accell Construction Chevrolet in the Auto Club 400 Sunday, March 25th.
Accell Construction adorned the hood of the No. 10 Chevrolet at Phoenix and Vegas this season. The 20-year-old company also partnered with TBR during the 2011 season. Continuing to see an increase in interest of the company, Accell Construction decided to extend their relationship with the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) team.
“We have been very happy with our relationship with TBR,” explained Accell Construction owner Steve Todhunter. “Being on the No. 10 Chevrolet has given us a lot of exposure. Plus, we hate to see a blank car out there on the track.”
Reutimann made three starts in the TBR No. 10 this season. He battled mechanical issues the first two races. Last weekend, the Zephyrhills, Fla., native struggled with the handling of his Chevrolet but held on for a 21st-place finish to move the TBR team to 36th in NSCS Owner Points.
“It is always good to have Accell Construction back on board,” commented TBR owner Tommy Baldwin. “We are glad that the partnership is work out for his company and for our race team.”
Reutimann will hit the 2.5-mile, Southern California track Friday, March 23rd for practice and qualifying. The Auto Club 400 is scheduled for Sunday, March 25th at 3 p.m. EST.

Baldwin utilized a declining economy to open a NSCS team with a stringent budget.
