Continue the Climb … Daniel Hemic arrives in America’s Heartland aiming to continue his climb in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Trucks Series (NCTS) Chase standings on Saturday afternoon. The driver of the No. 19 Cloyes / Rotomaster Chevrolet Silverado RST moved to seventh in the points standings after entering the regular season finale ninth. The MHR organization owns one victory at Kansas Speedway, earned by teammate Christian Eckes in 2023, and Hemric looks to break into victory lane to establish himself as a prominent title contender. Hemric and the No. 19 team opened the Chase with a 12th-place finish at Bristol Motor Speedway (BMS) and aim to return to the top-five on Saturday.
Kansas History … Since 2015, Hemric has been a fixture inside the top-10 at Kansas Speedway’s wide confines. In three previous NCTS outings at the Sunflower State’s 1.5-mile venue, he’s collected three top-10 results, including a 10th in 2025 and a third-place effort in 2016. He has a wealth of experience with 14 Kansas starts across NASCAR’s three national series, including two top-five results and 143 laps led in NASCAR Xfinity Series competition. Hemric has elevated his qualifying efforts in recent weeks and delivered his best oval “Q runs” at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and BMS the past two races, sixth and seventh respectively. Hemric looks to also continue his recent string of consistent finishes, three consecutive results in the top-12, while pursuing a second Kansas trophy for MHR.
Season to Date … Hemric gained four points on the points lead in last Thursday’s Chase opener at BMS, now 56 markers back of the lead. He sits seventh in the drivers’ point standings with two top-five’s and eight top-10 results through 19 races. He has one stage victory to his credit this season with an average finish of 15.0.

“It’s been a while since we raced at a true intermediate and I think we’ll have a good package to work from. Our No. 19 group had a ton of speed at Charlotte back in May, definitely had a top-five truck and that’s the goal with our Cloyes / Rotomaster Chevrolet this week. Everybody on this No. 19 team, and at MHR collectively, put their heads together, went to work and made some really good gains that we want to apply to Kansas this week. We’re going to need long run pace. There’s always a long run at some point in the race and if you have the right balance, the racetrack gives you enough options to move forward if you’re stuck in traffic. Hopefully we can keep banking points and put ourselves in the fight at the end of the day.”
