Stenhouse Looking To Become Only the 7th Nationwide Driver to Win Four-In-A-Row

CONCORD, N.C. (August 2, 2012) – This weekend at Iowa Speedway, Roush Fenway Racing’s Ricky Stenhouse Jr. looks to join an elite group of only six NASCAR drivers to ever win four consecutive races at a single track. If the 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Champion wins the U.S Cellular 250 on Saturday night, he would become the first Roush Fenway Racing driver to accomplish this astonishing achievement.

“I know winning four-in-a-row at Iowa is going to be a tough accomplishment but I feel our No. 6 team is strong and up for the challenge,” said Stenhouse, who won his first career NNS race at Iowa last season. “It would be a great honor to become the seventh Nationwide driver to win four-in-a-row and become the first Roush Fenway Racing driver to accomplish this feat.”

In five Nationwide starts at Iowa Speedway, Stenhouse has earned three wins, one pole and led 282 laps. The U.S Cellular 250 is set for Saturday, August 4. Coverage will begin at 8 p.m. (EST) on ESPN2. The race can also be heard on SIRIUS radio channel 90.
