Biffle Earns 14th-Place Finish In 3M ACE Brand Ford at Kentucky

SPARTA, Ky. (June 28, 2014) – Greg Biffle drove his No. 16 3M ACE Brand Ford Fusion to a 14th-place finish under the lights at Kentucky Speedway.  Biffle started the 267-lap event 24th and worked hard on handling throughout the race. In the final laps, the 3M Ace Brand Ford was fast on long green flag runs giving Biffle the advantage  to gain positions in the closing laps.

Biffle started Saturday night’s race from the 24th position and had his hands full right from the start.  As the sun set and the race continued into the evening the handling kept proving to be a challenge for Greg.

During scheduled stops Biffle received tires, fuel, track bar, wedge and air pressure adjustments in an effort to help with handling on the track.  It seemed as if around 20 laps into a run the No. 16 3M ACE Brand Ford came alive. Biffle was running lap times competitive to the leaders but lacked the track position he needed.

Biffle took the final restart 17th and by the time the checkered flag waved he had moved up to 14th, earning his best career Sprint Cup finish at the 1.5-mile Kentucky Speedway.
