RHODES DEBUTS AT FONTANA

FONTANA, Calif. – Harrison Rhodes is scheduled to make his first race appearance at Auto Club Speedway in Saturday’s Drive4Clots.com 300 Xfinity Series race.

“I know it’s a fast track,” Rhodes said of the two-mile facility. “Cars get around there at a pretty good clip, so you’ve got to have good power and good handling to make things work. I’m looking forward to racing there for the first time.”

Rhodes, a rookie in the Xfinity Series, sits 23rd in Xfinity Series points four races into the season despite failing to qualify for the season opener.

Practice is scheduled at 4:30 and 6 p.m. (ET) Friday. Qualifying is set for 12:45 p.m. Saturday, with the race to follow at 4.
