Moving on to the Monster Mile: The Series returns to Dover International Speedway for Sunday’s 400-mile race around the ‘Monster Mile’. In 25 starts at the Delaware short track, Denny has secured 10 top-10 finishes, including five top-10 results in his last six appearances there. During his last visit to Dover in April, Hamlin battled his way to seventh after serving a penalty in the race’s first Stage for pitting for fuel while pit road was closed.

I've learned so much this season and I'm excited to finish these last five races out strong. Dover was intimidating to me the first time I went there, but I feel like we got better as the race went on. Unfortunately we had that battery issue last time, so I would love to go there and have a solid redeeming run this time around."
