THE ROVAL-UTION IS NOW: The Bank of America Roval 400, will be the first Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series event on the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL course. The brand-new course features 17 turns along the 2.28-mile (3.669-kilometer) circuit on which teams will compete for 109 laps Sunday afternoon. This new course is a merger of Charlotte’s oval track, as well as the added road course elements which include two chicanes, and a winding section throughout the track’s infield.

When we start on Sunday, it will be the first time all 40 cars are on the track at once so it will definitely be exciting.”
