Martin Truex Jr. didn’t leave Martinsville Speedway a happy person even though he finished third after starting Sunday’s 500-lap race from the rear of the field due to a prerace inspection issue.

Brad Keselowski scored a fifth-place finish Sunday afternoon in the First Data 500 at Martinsville Speedway. The driver of the Thomas Built Buses Ford Fusion scored his 10th top-five finish of the season and seventh top five at the .526-mile speedway. Keselowski is 10th in the MENCS driver standings, 18 points behind ninth-place Ryan Blaney.

We didn't qualify very well, but I wasn't really worried about that because we have been in that position before and have been able to rebound come race time."

Joey Logano piloted his No. 22 Ford to victory today at Martinsville, his second win of the 2018 season. The win clinches a spot in the Championship 4 for Logano to be decided at Ford Championship Weekend.

We were just a little too tight there on every run. We kept freeing it up and freeing it up, but we never really got on top of it. Hopefully we’ll figure it out for the race and have a decent run.”

It is fun to be in these situations. I was freaking out at the Roval. Literally, my wife was like, ‘Are you going to be alright?’ I was like, “Hell, I don't know. I haven’t eaten much today.’ It’s fun having the pressure of being in that environment and having that feeling. You are racing for something very prestigious. It is a meaningful thing. It is a big damn deal. It is fun to be competing for that and an honor. Something I haven’t been able to do in a long time. It is neat to be back in the swing of that because of my team and the organization I am with.”

CLINT BOWYER, No. 14 Rush Truck Centers Ford Fusion - Qualified 2nd “Good God, after the way I have been qualifying lately it feels like I am sitting on four poles. We are on the front row man. I am terrible. You come to a track where you know you have a shot. When you won here in the spring you know you have a shot. It is cool weather, kind of the same conditions. Obviously it wasn’t the pole and Kyle (Busch) was faster. Kyle is really good at laying laps down. I like the Sunday afternoon drives.”

Tundra driver Brett Moffitt was the top Toyota-finisher in Saturday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race at Martinsville Speedway after placing second.

KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 M&M’s Halloween Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing - What clicked for you at Martinsville dating back to the fall race in 2015? “I’m not sure what kind of started clicking for us. I had a few top-fives I think before that as well too with Dave Rogers. I think that’s when it really was starting to finally set in. Maybe 2012 or 13ish, we always had decent runs going here, but we never materialized throughout the entire day and make the right adjustments the entire day to be there at the end."
