Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 driver, Alex Bowman, will make his 100th career Cup Series start this weekend at Kentucky Speedway. This year marks Bowman’s first full-time season at Hendrick Motorsports after becoming the driver of the No. 88 Chevy when Dale Earnhardt, Jr. announced his retirement in 2017. So far, Bowman has recorded one pole, one top five and seven top-10 finishes since taking over the seat of the No.88.
The two-time Xfinity champion has five career MENCS starts at Kentucky with an average starting position of 18.0 and average finishing position of 21.4.
Performance Plus will make its debut as the primary partner for NASCAR Champion driver Matt Kenseth this weekend at Kentucky Speedway. The premium motor oil brand – which is the official motor oil of Roush Fenway Racing and helps power all of the team’s engines – will also serve as Kenseth’s primary partner on the No. 6 Ford later this season at Richmond Raceway on Sept. 22.
