We had speed pretty much everywhere we were going. We just had a lot of inconsistency and for whatever reason we were not doing a good job putting ourselves in a good position by the end of the races - getting involved in different accidents or just not good positions and I feel like I was putting maybe a little bit too much pressure on myself to try to do well and the last month or so I’ve been just more relaxed and doing just this without expecting to be great and things are coming our way again."

Joey Logano, driver of the No. 22 Shell Pennzoil Ford Fusion, fresh off his victory last weekend at Talladega, met with media members at Dover prior to the opening practice sessions of the weekend.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series all head to Dover International Speedway for a tripleheader this weekend. Check out the tentative full schedule below, subject to change.

Heading to one of his favorite tracks on the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) schedule, Jesse Little (@JesseLittle97) treks to Dover International Speedway hoping for his second consecutive top-10 finish this season in Friday afternoon’s JEGS 200.

Paul Menard and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane team didn’t get the finish they were hoping for at Talladega Superspeedway, but they did leave the track feeling good about the performance of their No. 21 Ford Fusion.

Toyota Tallies at Dover… The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) heads back to Dover International Speedway where Camry drivers have won three of the last four Delaware events. Toyota’s Kyle Busch reeled in Chase Elliott last October to take the victory on the one-mile concrete oval, while Martin Truex Jr. triumphed at the track in October 2016 and former Camry driver Matt Kenseth was victorious in spring 2016. Busch also won in a Camry at the track in 2008 and 2010. The NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) will accompany the Cup Series in Dover, where Camry drivers have tallied 10 NXS victories, while Tundra drivers have eight wins in the Truck Series.

Matt DiBenedetto will be the first person to say that he hasn't had the best luck at Dover International Speedway. With an average starting position of 34th and average finish of 32nd over six starts at the 1-mile oval, the luck is bound to turn for him and the No.32 CorvetteParts.net team. DiBenedetto has always considered Dover to be one of his favorite racetracks, but bad luck has spoiled his efforts in the past.

Fontaine on Racing at Dover: “I’ve never been to Dover – but it’s one of those tracks, I can’t wait to experience,” said Fontaine. “I’m glad that this six-week break is over, and we can get back to business and hopefully earn another top-10 run.”
