Shriners Hospitals for Children Partners with David Ragan and Front Row Motorsports to Launch Superheroes of Summer Safety

Warmer weather and time off from school can mean an increase in serious accidents for children, but Shriners Hospitals for Children® is trying to change that with the help of Front Row Motorsports (FRM) and David Ragan. A nationwide program encourages kids to be Superheroes of Summer Safety and to #EarnYourCape by following tips to reduce the risk of injuries during the summer months.

KENNINGTON FIGHTS TO THE FINISH AT SEASON OPENER

DJ Kennington and the #17 Castrol Edge Dodge team opened up a new season of competition in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series at the traditional kick off to summer, the Castrol Victoria Day Speedfest at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) near Bowmanville, Ontario. Kennington and team overcame significant obstacles during the race to collect a top-ten finish this past Sunday afternoon.

RANGER SNAGS PODIUM FINISH FOR TEAM MOPAR IN OPENER

Andrew Ranger and the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge team were excited to debut the new Mopar M1 engine for the season opening round of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series this past Sunday at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP). Many of hours of development and testing went into the project and Ranger rewarded the team’s effort with a runner up finish in it’s first on track competition.

A RACE FILLED WITH TWISTS AND TURNS FOR LOUIS-PHILIPPE DUMOULIN

It’s under demanding weather conditions that the #47 WeatherTech Canada/ Groupe Bellemare team stood out today on the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park circuit. On the starting grid in third place, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin started the race on the tail-end due to a penalty in the pits.

THORNDYKE ROARS FORWARD IN OPENER

David Thorndyke and the #67 Thorsons EVT Chevrolet team spent plenty of hours during the off-season preparing their car for the new year of competition in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series season opener at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP). While they had to battle a few mechanical gremlins during the weekend it was all worth it, Thorndyke gained nine positions during the race to finish 13th.

WESTERN BOYS PUT ON A SHOW FOR CBRT

Canada’s Best Racing Team (CBRT) hit the track with four entries for this past weekends opening round of the NASCAR Pinty’s Series at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP). And when the racing action was completed in soggy and challenging conditions on Sunday afternoon it was the two guys from Western Canada that were turning heads and getting plenty of attention.
