RCR Event Preview – Combat Wounded Coalition 400 at the Brickyard and Lilly Diabetes 250

Richard Childress Racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway ... In 61 previous NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Richard Childress Racing has posted two pole awards (Kevin Harvick in 2003 and Jeff Burton in 2006), three wins (Dale Earnhardt in 1995, Harvick in 2003 and Paul Menard in 2011), 11 top-five and 24 top-10 finishes. RCR Chevrolets have also been atop the leaderboard for a total of 268 laps and with the exception of one, each entry has been running at the finish of every event at the Brickyard, dating back to the inaugural race in 1994.

New Sponsor, New Paint Scheme for Truex’s Camry at Indy

The No. 78 Furniture Row Racing entry for Sunday’s Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway will have a new paint scheme and a new primary sponsor. The color of Truex’s Toyota Camry will be blue, the corporate hue for Auto-Owners Insurance, which announced earlier in the year that it will be the primary sponsor on Truex’s car for three Sprint Cup Series races.

"It was a good run for our Whelen Chevrolet. It was a hard fought day. We had about a 15th-place car and to finish where we did, made it a good day. It was a solid points day for us. We still have some work to do to be running up there in the top three and contending for the win all day long."
