Circle Sport - Leavine Family Racing (CSLFR) is looking forward to finishing up their best NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) season to date at Homestead-Miami Speedway this Sunday, where they will have two entries in the 2016 season finale race.
CHAD KNAUS, CREW CHIEF, NO. 48 LOWE’S CHEVROLET SS, met with members of the media via teleconference today to discuss this weekend’s race at Homestead-Miami Speedway, winning a seventh series title and many other topics.
Homestead-Miami Speedway has become dear to the hearts of several champions who were crowned at the 1.5-mile track. In fact, over the past half-dozen years the championship has been decided under the South Florida sun.

“It’s really exciting to have the final race of the season in Florida,” explained Black. “I live just a few hours north of Miami, so I’ll have a lot of friends and family coming down for this one. Obviously, the pressure is on to run well since it is the last race of the season, but it also gives me a chance to celebrate the year and have fun with my team and family.”
“I have always loved racing at Homestead,” said Wallace. “It’s a track that allows you to race all over the place, which makes it a ton of fun. Whether it’s rolling around the top or hugging that white line on the bottom, there’s plenty of room to make moves and work your way forward.
Todd Gordon, crew chief for the No. 22 Shell Pennzoil Ford Fusion and Joey Logano, was part of a teleconference today discussing this weekend’s Championship 4 in which Logano will be one of four drivers competing for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship.
