Texas Motor Speedway is having a casting call during next week's Duck Commander 500 NASCAR doubleheader that will give fans of Blake Shelton the opportunity to take part in a national television commercial featuring the country music superstar.

Six-time Talladega Superspeedway winner and current NASCAR on FOX analyst - Jeff Gordon - might not be competing in this year’s GEICO 500, but with the new 24EVER Talladega special ticket package, fans will still get the opportunity on race weekend to see one of their favorite NASCAR heroes.

A solid run at Auto Club Speedway ended with a trip to the garage for Greg Biffle. Biffle started the race 22nd and was making gains on the track when something went amiss with his No. 16 Ford EcoBoost Ford, ultimately sending him to the garage where it was determined their day was done leaving Biffle with a 37th-place finish.

Trevor Bayne powered his No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Fusion inside the top 15 for much of the day before a flat right-rear tire relegated him to a 20th-place finish in Sunday afternoon’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) event at Auto Club Speedway
