Official Beer of NASCAR® to Christen Inaugural NASCAR-Themed Cruise

NASCAR­­: The Cruise Sails through the Caribbean January 29 – February 3, 2017

Miami, Fla. (November 10, 2016) — NASCAR fans, raise your glasses. Coors Light, the “Official Beer of NASCAR®,” will set sail on the first-ever NASCAR-themed cruise in January. Through a partnership between Entertainment Cruise Productions and MillerCoors, NASCAR: The Cruise Presented by Coors Light, will bring an entirely new level of excitement, adventure and refreshments to NASCAR’s only themed vacation.

On the first-ever NASCAR-themed cruise, Coors Light will be the exclusive alcohol beverage partner and deliver on-board activities, themed parties, merchandise giveaways and more. On shore, Coors Light will hold destination events at select ports-of-call during the cruise. At retail, Coors Light will offer consumers unique opportunities to win trips on NASCAR: The Cruise.

In addition to designating Coors Light as the Official Beer on NASCAR: The Cruise, this partnership also establishes MillerCoors as the exclusive alcohol beverage sponsor for all of the cruise programs of Entertainment Cruise Productions for the next three years. These programs include Star Trek: The Cruise, The Jazz Cruise, The Smooth Jazz Cruise, The 80s Cruise and Blue Note at Sea. Specific events and programs are being created for each of the cruises imbedding MillerCoors into the specific theme of that particular cruise.

Other NASCAR celebrities on the voyage include renowned car owner and NASCAR Hall of Fame nominee Robert Yates, drivers Donnie Allison, David Ragan, Ken Schrader, Mike Wallace and Michael Waltrip, along with broadcasters Doug Rice, Jeff Hammond, Brad Gillie and Krista Voda. NASCAR TV analyst Kyle Petty will host the maiden voyage, which also features performances by the Beach Boys, southern rockers 38 Special, winner of NBC’s Last Comic Standing John Heffron and appearances by “Dr BBQ” Ray Lampe, making NASCAR: The Cruise the ultimate vacation for every kind of racing fan.

Fans will have unprecedented access to historic giants of NASCAR on NASCAR: The Cruise, as they share their stories about life on and off the track. Virtual racing simulators, pit crew challenges, victory lane celebrations and plenty of autograph and Q&A sessions with legends and other fan favorites will round out the days and nights. Throughout the cruise, guests will be treated to world-class entertainment, concerts, special events, themed parties and more.  NASCAR: The Cruise will sail the Caribbean from January 29 through February 3, 2017, launching in Miami and spending six days and five nights traveling from Miami to Key West, Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay aboard the spectacular Norwegian Pearl, which will be transformed into the ultimate racing playground with authentic race cars literally on deck.
