The Season's Conclusion...Michael Annett and his No. 46 Pilot Flying J team take their talents to the Miami area this weekend for the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season finale, where the 1.5-mile Homestead Miami Speedway awaits.
On the strength of two wins, 11 top-five and 20 top-10 finishes throughout the course of the 2015 NASCAR XFINITY Series season, Roush Fenway Racing’s Chris Buescher enters the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway ranking first in the driver championship standings.
The NASCAR XFINITY Series will waive the checkered flag on the 2015 season at Homestead-Miami Speedway on Saturday afternoon. Kyle Larson will pilot the No. 42 Chevrolet for the 14th and final time in 2015 and the second with Procter & Gamble’s Crest brand onboard.

As The Championship™ 4 get ready to race for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™ trophy at Homestead-Miami Speedway, preparations are underway in Las Vegas for annual postseason celebrations honoring the eventual 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion™, the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup™ drivers, and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Sunoco Rookie of the Year.
Greg Biffle looked to be on his way to a solid finish in the season finale Ford EcoBoost 400 when his forward progress was derailed by a flat tire. The flat tire sent Biffle into the outside wall, then to the garage for repairs. The team repaired the damage and Biffle returned to the track to cross the finish line 41st and finish out the season 14th in the Championship standings.
"It’s going to be my final race and I know it will be emotional. We’ve clawed and scratched our way into the championship and it’s all a bonus – icing on the cake, if you will – for us this weekend. It’s amazing to think I have an opportunity to go out on top.”
Reed has competed at Homestead Miami Speedway (HMS) twice in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. In 2013, Reed finished 13th after starting 19th. In 2014, Reed finished 27th after starting 11th and suffering a flat tire in the closing laps of the race while running in the top 10.
Roush Fenway Racing’s Chris Buescher will make his second start at Homestead-Miami Speedway this weekend in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. Buescher’s first start at the 1.5-mile track came in this race last season, where Buescher qualified 10th and finished fifth.
Blaney was scored fourth when the cycle completed and showed his strength of maintaining pace the rest of the way to take the checkered flag third with several of the leaders struggling with tire wear down the stretch.
Daniel Suárez, driver of the No. 7 NationsGuard Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Spire Motorsports, ran inside the top 10 for the majority of Sunday’s Goodyear 400.
