Three-time Indianapolis 500 winner Helio Castroneves topped the fifth day of preparations for the 98th Running of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race with a lap 227.166 mph (39.6186 seconds), the fastest of the month.

Momentum is an intangible that often proves elusive for a racer, but once corralled, can carry a driver for extended periods of time.
