HORNADAY ERASED FROM CONTENTION EARLY WHILE IN THE TOP-10 AT IOWA SPEEDWAY

Race Recap: The number 33 will always be a number near and dear to Ron Hornaday's heart as he took the number to victory lane many times with Kevin Harvick, Inc. in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) before teaming up with Joe Denette Motorsports (JDM) in 2012. However, it's safe to say Hornaday didn't want to see his name beside that number on the final finishing order for Saturday night's American Ethanol 200 presented by Hy-Vee at Iowa Speedway.

LOFTON’S NIGHT ENDS EARLY WITH A HARD HIT TO THE OUTSIDE WALL

Justin Lofton and the No. 6 Lofton Cattle team's night came to an early end in the American Ethanol 200 at Iowa Speedway when the No. 6 Chevrolet suffered terminal damage in a lap 95 accident. After leading laps and racing inside the top 10 throughout most of the night, Lofton's championship battle took a hit as a result of a 31st-place finish.

Miguel Paludo earned his third top-10 finish of the season at Iowa Speedway, closing up the points gap between him and the top-10 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) driver standings. Paludo rebounded from an ill-timed caution, which put him two laps down, to fight his way back onto the lead lap and score a 10th-place finish.

Augie Grill No. 4 NCWTS Post-Race Report: Iowa Speedway II

In his first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) start, Augie Grill overcame adversity again and again, facing an early spin and truck damage from hard side-by-side racing. Despite going several laps down near the beginning of the 200-lap event when a competitor forced him into the wall, Grill and the No. 4 Turner Motorsports team never gave up, but were ultimately relegated to a 27th-place finish.
