Race Recap: The number 33 will always be a number near and dear to Ron Hornaday's heart as he took the number to victory lane many times with Kevin Harvick, Inc. in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) before teaming up with Joe Denette Motorsports (JDM) in 2012. However, it's safe to say Hornaday didn't want to see his name beside that number on the final finishing order for Saturday night's American Ethanol 200 presented by Hy-Vee at Iowa Speedway.

Justin Lofton and the No. 6 Lofton Cattle team's night came to an early end in the American Ethanol 200 at Iowa Speedway when the No. 6 Chevrolet suffered terminal damage in a lap 95 accident. After leading laps and racing inside the top 10 throughout most of the night, Lofton's championship battle took a hit as a result of a 31st-place finish.

Trevor Bayne’s Good Sam/Camping World Ford Fusion was strong all day in the Geico 400 at Chicagoland Speedway, and the Wood Brothers’ pit crew had one its best performances of the year, neither of which was reflected in the official results.

Richard Childress Racing teammates finished 12th (Kevin Harvick), 15th (Paul Menard) and 24th (Jeff Burton). According the NASCAR Post-Race Loop Data Statistics, Harvick completed 100 Green Flag Passes during the 267-lap event, the most of any driver.

Miguel Paludo earned his third top-10 finish of the season at Iowa Speedway, closing up the points gap between him and the top-10 in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) driver standings. Paludo rebounded from an ill-timed caution, which put him two laps down, to fight his way back onto the lead lap and score a 10th-place finish.

John Wes Townley overcame a mid-pack starting position to have a strong run in Saturday night's American Ethanol 200 at Iowa Speedway, but problems on pit road, including on a late-race stop, resulted in a 15th-place finish for the Zaxby's team.

In his first career NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) start, Augie Grill overcame adversity again and again, facing an early spin and truck damage from hard side-by-side racing. Despite going several laps down near the beginning of the 200-lap event when a competitor forced him into the wall, Grill and the No. 4 Turner Motorsports team never gave up, but were ultimately relegated to a 27th-place finish.

Race fans, sponsors and VIPs gathered in the Newton Club at Iowa Speedway on Thursday evening to honor royalty, ‘The King’ Richard Petty. The third Rusty’s Roast – Celebrating the Career of Richard Petty – hosted over 200 people to benefit The NASCAR Foundation and the Iowa Speedway Foundation.

Persistence paid off for Todd Bodine and the No. 11 Toyota Care team in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series American Ethanol 200 presented by Hy-Vee on Saturday night.

The No. 31 Wolfpack Rentals Turner Motorsports Chevrolet team came into Iowa Speedway with one thing on their mind: redemption. During the first trip to the state of the art .875 short track, Buescher led 91 laps before an unexpected tire failure sent him into the turn two retaining wall, effectively ending his race.
