Stenhouse Jr. – Dollar General 300 Advance – NNS

Stenhouse, Jr. on racing at Chicagoland Speedway: “I really enjoy racing at Chicagoland. The track is rough which I like. Our 1.5-mile track program has been stout this year. Earlier this year, we sat on the pole and finished second. After leading 135 laps, we felt like we let that race slip away so we are looking to redeem ourselves this weekend. We currently sit one point out of the lead in the championship battle so we need a strong finish in our No. 6 Blue Bird Ford.”

We are going to go out and just enjoy these last 10 races for what they are. It’s a chance to go have fun, to try things we’ve been wanting to try all year that we want to try for next year and just try to get victories. I wish so bad this was the first race of our 2012 championship, but really it’s the first race of our 2013 championship run. We’re just getting a head start on these guys and that’s how we have to look at it.”
