Blue Bird Corporation to Sponsor Stenhouse at Chicagoland Speedway

Blue Bird Corporation and ROUSH CleanTech will serve as the primary sponsors for the reigning 2011 NASCAR Nationwide champion, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and his No. 6 team during the Dollar General 300 at Chicagoland Speedway on September 15, 2012.

Martinsville Speedway Ticket Office Now Open On Weekends

Martinsville Speedway’s ticket office will be open on weekends beginning this Saturday, Sept. 15 through the TUMS Fast Relief 500 on Oct. 28.

Steckly stung in the late going at Barrie

Two-time Barrie Speedway winner Scott Steckly returned to the track on Sunday kicking off the Wahta Springs 300 with a strong, field-leading performance. Unfortunately for Steckly, a late caution turned sour for him and his #22 Canadian Tire Dodge.

Todd Bodine No. 11 Toyota Care Toyota Tundra Iowa Speedway Advance

Following a week away from the track, ToddBodine travels to Iowa Speedway this weekend with his No. 11 Toyota Care team in the midst of a battle to turn his season around. Since pulling into victory lane at Dover in June, Bodine has fallen victim to a streak of bad luck and slipped from sixth to 14th in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver point standings. Though many situations have been out of his control, the two-time series champion believes there's a big advantage to racing in front of a large crowd of passionate fans. Fortunately for Bodine, the enthusiastic fan base that Iowa provides may be just the ticket to help him get fired up and back on track.

Timothy Peters No. 17 Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra Iowa Speedway Advance

Returning to the site of his first win in 2012, Timothy Peters will pilot the No. 17 Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra this weekend at Iowa Speedway for the American Ethanol 200 presented by Hy-Vee. After sitting on the pole, leading nearly half of the laps and claiming the win in July, Peters is ready to re-visit the 0.875-mile oval and repeat history.

Parker Kligerman No. 7 Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra Iowa Speedway Advance

Combination for Success: Parker Kligerman and the rest of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitors travel to Iowa Speedway this Saturday for the American Ethanol 200 presented by Hy-Vee with eight races remaining on the 2012 season docket. Sitting fourth in the series championship point standings, Kligerman enters Iowa Speedway with two previous starts to his credit and distinctly remembers the passionate fan base and energy surrounding race weekends in the Midwest. He knows it won't take just one specific component to be successful, but is looking forward to taking on the challenge with his No. 7 Red Horse Racing team and fan support behind him.

Kurt Busch and KBM Team Third in Richmond Return

Five months ago, Kurt Busch and his younger brother’s Kyle Busch Motorsports (KBM) NASCAR Nationwide Series team enjoyed the thrill of victory for the first time together at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway. Last night, at the same short-track oval, Busch and the No. 54 Monster Energy crew attempted to repeat the thrill of visiting victory lane. Busch and team had worked their way to the front and appeared on track for a win, until a late-race caution waved bringing the field back together again. A strong effort on the last restart kept the Toyota team amongst the frontrunners, completing the night with a third-place finish.

FIRST PODIUM FINISH FOR NOEL DOWLER

Sherwood Park, Alberta’s Noel Dowler continues to enjoy a sophomore season in the #5 EMCO Dodge participating in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series with improved race results and a season of firsts. Earlier this year Dowler scored his first top ten result in the series and this past weekend at Barrie Speedway Dowler recorded his first podium finish with a third place result.
