Now heading into his sophomore season with Richard Childress Racing, Austin Dillon is excited to go and set to make the Chase for the Championship this upcoming season.

Mark Martin, a 40-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race winner, revealed in a tweet Friday morning that he would not be returning as the team's driver development coach for the 2015 season.

David Ragan will bring a familiar face to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series' season-opening Daytona 500. The iconic image of Colonel Harlan Sanders will return to the No. 34 Ford Fusion as KFC and Front Row Motorsports team up for one of racing's biggest events Feb. 22 at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Fla.

HScott Motorsports is pleased to announce that Jay Guy has joined the Spartanburg, S.C. based operation. Jay will be the crew chief for the No. 46 Pilot Flying J Chevy driven by Michael Annett in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS).

Two more national brands announced today they will join Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM), Sam Hornish, Jr. and the No. 9 Ford Performance team for the Daytona 500. Nature Blast and SafeZorb will serve as associate sponsors on the No. 9 and support Hornish as he looks to become only the third driver to win both the Indianapolis 500 and the Daytona 500.

The GEICO 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Alabama, roars back into action May 1-3.

NASCAR announced today that the season-opening 75-lap Sprint Unlimited at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, Feb. 14, will be split into two segments. A competition caution at lap 25 will separate the segments in the non-points event, scheduled for an 8:15 p.m. ET start (live on FOX, Motor Racing Network Radio, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).

The countdown has begun to the start of a new season, with less than ten days to go before the Sprint Unlimited exhibition race at Daytona. A new campaign, some new teams and some new expectations.
