NASCAR announced, Monday, the return of the original format of "The Chase" to decide the champion for its three national touring series.

The two-time ARCA Menards Series East champion from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, continues to recover from concussion-like symptoms stemming from his accident at Talladega Superspeedway.

The 25-year-old Burton from Huntersville, North Carolina, clocked in a pole-winning lap at 95.429 mph in 19.843 seconds for his first Xfinity Series career pole and in his penultimate start with AM Racing at Martinsville.

Justin Allgaier set the pace, winning the pole for this evening’s NASCAR Xfinity Series at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with a 179.063 mph lap.

Connor Zilisch won the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at World Wide Technology Raceway (Gateway) by 1.506 seconds over William Sawalich. It was his ninth win of the season and earned him the Regular Season championship. He dominated the race, leading four times for 121 of 160 laps.

Parker Kligerman, filling in for the injured Connor Zilisch, scored the NASCAR Xfinity Series win at Daytona International Speedway Friday night.

NASCAR has suspended Austin Hill for one race after determining that he intentionally wrecked Aric Almirola in the Xfinity Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
