This past spring, I set out on a 2,800-mile motorcycle ride with more than 225 other motorcyclists who helped me raise awareness and spread the word about Victory Junction. We had the pleasure of experiencing our first ever, coast-to-coast adventure from Carlsbad, Calif. to Daytona Beach, Fla.

The marketing arm of Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) announced today the extension of their relationship with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. RPM will continue to develop and execute a fully-integrated motorsports marketing campaign in 2015 for "Fresh From Florida," a marketing, advertising and promotional campaign focused on building awareness and sales of fresh seafood, produce and other Florida products.

I never thought that anything could ever top that weekend. Meeting my idol and my favorite NASCAR driver twice in a span of 24 hours and I never stopped smiling. Pretty sweet, right? Well, this past weekend eclipsed that weekend in Dover, hands down!

Unfortunately, 39 we knew who would not, also were out there.

The 2014 NASCAR season is officially over with the notable exception of the Championship Banquet. What kind of year was it? With the multitudes on talk radio praising the new format for determining a champion, what does the rest of NASCAR Nation think? This reporter has a “wait and see” attitude on the format, but that comes later.
