NASCAR Cup Series

To say the 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup season has been a roller coaster ride for Kyle Busch is a massive understatement. Heading into the 2012 Sprint Cup Series season, Kyle Busch was expected to compete for his first NSCS championship and after a dramatic victory in the Bud Shootout at Daytona many believed that it would be a catapult of things to come for the Las Vegas native.

BRAD KESELOWSKI: Well, to win a championship for Roger would certainly be a huge accomplishment considering everything he's been through in American motorsports and beyond. You look at his legacy in the sport and you can't help but feel that he's been a little bit slighted on the NASCAR side. We'd like to get that job done, and I think we have the opportunity to do it. The 2012 finalist on NBC’s “The Voice” Chris Mann will perform the National Anthem on Sunday for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship Ford EcoBoost 400. CEO of The World Famous West Coast Customs Ryan Friedlinghaus will wave the green flag for Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series Ford EcoBoost 300 as the Honorary Starter.

Dodge is fielding two full-time entries in the series this year. Sam Hornish Jr. is competing for the series championship while Brad Keselowski and Ryan Blaney are sharing the driving duties in the second Penske Racing entry.

Even though the Wood Brothers race team runs a partial Sprint Cup schedule, the Ford Championship Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway is a race the team eagerly anticipates.
