Motocross and rally car champion Travis Pastrana enters 2012 with a new challenge on his plate. Never one to shy away from an opportunity to quench his thirst for competition, Pastrana is making his NASCAR debut in 2012 on multiple series platforms.

Following the first off weekend of the season, Kevin Harvick and the No. 29 Budweiser Chevrolet team travel to Fort Worth, Texas, for Saturday night’s Samsung Mobile 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at Texas Motor Speedway.

RCR in the NSCS ... In 2,183 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts dating back to 1969, Richard Childress Racing has amassed 100 wins, 430 top-five finishes, 889 top-10 finishes and 42 pole awards with an average starting position of 17.9 and an average finishing position of 15.7 among all races contested.

EGR at Texas: Dating back to 2001, EGR drivers have led 89 laps at Texas Motor Speedway, accumulating four top-five, 13 top-10 and 18 top-15 finishes.
