TEAM CHEVY IN THE GARAGE AUTO CLUB SPEEDWAY – ALBA COLON, PROGRAM MANAGER, NASCAR SPRINT CUP SERIES, GM RACING: “After an eventful weekend in Bristol, Team Chevy is looking forward to this weekend's race at Auto Club Speedway. This has been a good track to us especially coming away with wins in the last four NASCAR Sprint Cup races celebrated here.

On opening day of inspection at Daytona International Speedway on February 17th, the No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports team was assessed penalties after NASCAR deemed the c-posts to be illegal.

While the spotlight may be on Tony Stewart, his Stewart-Haas Racing teammate Ryan Newman is quietly having a good season so far as he sits 12th in points.

It started on I-64 shortly after leaving Beckley, West Virginia. The trip to Bristol Motor speedway is only 180 miles, the second closest track (to Martinsville) from my home in rural West Virginia.

Dodge driver Brad Keselowski earned his fifth NASCAR Sprint Cup Series win of his career last weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway. He led 232 laps en route to his second consecutive win at the .533-mile track.

No. 56 NAPA AUTO PARTS driver Martin Truex Jr. and Michael Waltrip Racing are enjoying the spotlight after all three MWR teams finished in the top five at Bristol, a first in the organization’s history. The solid efforts place all three MWR cars in the top-nine in the owner points standings.

Oklahoma-based Accell Construction will return to the Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) No. 10 Chevrolet this weekend at Auto Club Speedway. David Reutimann will drive the No. 10 Accell Construction Chevrolet in the Auto Club 400 Sunday, March 25th.
