For the second straight day a Roush Fenway Ford set the pace at Daytona International Speedway, with Greg Biffle leading both of Saturday’s practice sessions for next week’s Daytona 500.

Greg Biffle, driver of the No. 16 3M Ford Fusion, led BOTH practice sessions today in preparation for tomorrow’s pole qualifying runs for the Daytona 500. Biffle spoke about today’s performance and if it means anything for Sunday.

Martin Truex Jr., driving the No. 56 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota for Michael Waltrip Racing, drew the pole position for Saturday’s 34th annual Budweiser Shootout at Daytona International Speedway.

Greg Biffle will start seventh via a random draw when Roush Fenway kicks off its “25 Winning Years” 2012 celebration in Saturday night’s Budweiser Shootout at Daytona International Speedway.

Since everyone knows the historical significance of Daytona and the Bud Shootout, I thought I would post some stats as far as how my picks fared throughout the 2011 season.
