DAVID RAGAN - No. 6 UPS Ford Fusion - "That's gonna be close. My teammates are who I better watch out for - Matt, Carl, Greg, Trevor - they've got some fast Fords out here. I'm proud of my UPS guys. We didn't start off that great. We made a lot of changes for a Friday, but they did a good job. That was a good lap, so that will be in the top five, I think, but we're here to win this race."

The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series' Chase For The Championship moves on to round number eight this Sunday at the Texas Motor Speedway. The winner of the AAA Texas 500 will get to observe the time honored tradition of firing those twin six shooters in victory lane.

Team Chevy drivers claimed two of the top-five and three of the top-10 starting positions for Sunday's AAA Texas 500 at Texas Motor Speedway. Paul Menard, No. 27 Quaker State/Menards Chevrolet qualified fourth followed by Tony Stewart, No. 14 Office Depot/Mobil 1 Chevrolet in fifth.

JEFF GORDON, NO. 24 DRIVE TO END HUNGER CHEVROLET met with members of the media at Texas Motor Speedway and discussed Phoenix, Jimmie Johnson, and going to the Congo along with other topics.

BRAD KESELOWSKI (No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger R/T) Qualified 8th "It was a pretty good lap for the Miller Lite Dodge. I've never been a good qualifier here, but I think we may get a top 10 or top 15 out of that run. We picked up about three tenths from practice and the car seems very balanced. I've think that we have something to work with for Sunday."

KURT BUSCH (No. 22 AAA Dodge Charger R/T) HOW WAS YOUR CAR IN THE FIRST PRACTICE? “The car is good. The AAA Dodge is fast. We have a shot at the pole and we’re going to go for it. We’ll loosen it up and let the rough edges drag.”

KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 M&M's Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing What are your impressions of the changes made to the race track at Phoenix? "The new Phoenix (track) is definitely different. It's something that we've all got to become accustomed to and kind of used to, how it's going to change and what's going to be different about it. It's fun. We'll see what happens when we get there."

Danica Patrick will make her NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut in the prestigious season-opening 54th annual Daytona 500 on Sunday, Feb. 26.
