NASCAR Cup Series

Chase contenders dominated the top 15 all day during the Price Chopper 400 at the Kansas Speedway. When it was all over it was Chase contender Gregg Biffle who ended up taking the hardware home.

Kasey Kahne, driver of the No. 9 Budweiser Ford Fusion, started the Price Chopper 400 on the pole and led the first 26 laps of the race but was ultimately forced to the garage early after ripping up the right side of his car after hitting the wall on lap 164. Kahne talked about the incident in the garage.

With ‘silly season’ in full swing as the NASCAR season approaches its finale, this year it seems instead like a game of ‘duck, duck, goose’.

Jeff Gordon (No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet) will start third in Sunday’s Price Chopper 400 at Kansas Speedway, the third race in the 2010 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.

JOEY LOGANO Starting Position: 4th Are you happy with the race car? “I will definitely take it, for sure. We picked up a little bit from practice, which a lot of guys haven’t."

JEFF GORDON, NO. 24 DUPONT CHEVROLET, QUALIFIED 3RD: "We made quite a few adjustments on the DuPont Chevrolet during practice. I really didn't feel like the track was that much different from what we ran."

TRAVIS KVAPIL, No. 34 Long John Silver’s Ford Fusion (Qualified 42nd) “We were a little bit too free in our practice run, so we made a couple changes to tighten it up and we were actually freer in our qualifying run than we were in our practice run."
