We are down to a game of musical chairs. Four spots, with eight drivers who very much want one of them. Let me just say that musical chairs sucks. When you are a reserved fat kid, the more athletic aggressive lads are going to go after those seats hard. Also, you will never be a hero dropping a young lady on her ass. Fortunately for the gents at Martinsville on Sunday, not a young lady to be found. No fat kids, either, come to think of it.

1. Joey Logano: Logano used a controversial bump-and-run maneuver on Martin Truex, Jr. on the final lap to win the First Data 500 at Martinsville. "I know this makes me an unpopular driver," Logano said. "Correction: I know this makes me a more unpopular driver."

A day after Joey Logano's controversial bump-and-run on Martin Truex Jr. coming to the checkered for the win at the First Data 500 at Martinsville, social media still seems to be fired up. Granted, the race's final 30 laps were some of the best racing we've seen all year and the run to the checkered was one of the best this season.

Camry drivers took three of the top-four spots in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series event at Martinsville Speedway with Denny Hamlin, Martin Truex Jr. and Kyle Busch finishing second through fourth, respectively.

Martin Truex Jr. didn’t leave Martinsville Speedway a happy person even though he finished third after starting Sunday’s 500-lap race from the rear of the field due to a prerace inspection issue.

Brad Keselowski scored a fifth-place finish Sunday afternoon in the First Data 500 at Martinsville Speedway. The driver of the Thomas Built Buses Ford Fusion scored his 10th top-five finish of the season and seventh top five at the .526-mile speedway. Keselowski is 10th in the MENCS driver standings, 18 points behind ninth-place Ryan Blaney.

Joey Logano won the First Data 500 at Martinsville on Sunday afternoon after a chaotic battle for the win against Martin Truex Jr. He scored his second win of the season and punched his ticket to the Championship 4 at Homestead.

Joey Logano piloted his No. 22 Ford to victory today at Martinsville, his second win of the 2018 season. The win clinches a spot in the Championship 4 for Logano to be decided at Ford Championship Weekend.
