Bluegrass State Next Stop for Roush Fenway Racing

Roush Fenway Racing heads to the Bluegrass State this weekend – home of Abraham Lincoln, Muhammad Ali, Jennifer Lawrence, Johnny Depp and Jack Roush – as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) and Xfinity Series (NXS) get set for racing under the lights at the 1.5-mile track. Fans witnessed stars including Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Larson and Denny Hamlin take part in high-speed shakedowns on the 2.28-mile, 17-turn road course oval that will be used in the inaugural Bank of America ROVAL™ 400 race weekend Sept. 28-30.

HENDRICK MOTORSPORTS AT KENTUCKY: In seven races at Kentucky Speedway, Hendrick Motorsports has posted two poles, six top-five finishes, 15 top-10s and 216 laps led. The venue, which began hosting NASCAR's premier series in 2011, is the only active track where Hendrick Motorsports has not produced a win in the Cup Series. The organization has finished in every position from second to 14th at the track at least once.

CHEVY MENCS AT KENTUCKY: Team Chevy Advance

Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 driver, Alex Bowman, will make his 100th career Cup Series start this weekend at Kentucky Speedway. This year marks Bowman’s first full-time season at Hendrick Motorsports after becoming the driver of the No. 88 Chevy when Dale Earnhardt, Jr. announced his retirement in 2017. So far, Bowman has recorded one pole, one top five and seven top-10 finishes since taking over the seat of the No.88.
