NASCAR Cup Series

The 82nd Airborne Division’s “All-American” Chorus, based out of Fort Bragg, N.C., will sing the National Anthem prior to the 60th annual Coke Zero Sugar 400, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race scheduled for Saturday at Daytona International Speedway (TV – NBC; Radio – MRN Radio, SiriusXM).

NASCAR and the NASCAR Hall of Fame today announced legendary motorsports reporter Steve Waid as the eighth recipient of the Squier-Hall Award for NASCAR Media Excellence.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series heads to Daytona International Speedway this weekend to continue the Independence Day celebration with the Coke Zero Sugar 400. Be prepared for fireworks both on and off the track.

On Thursday, NASCAR returned to Daytona International Speedway with practice sessions in advance of Saturday night’s 60th annual Coke Zero Sugar 400, the traditional midsummer, midseason night-time classic for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

Palm Coast, Fla. native Ray Black Jr. (@RayBlackJr) is poised to make his fourth career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) start in Saturday night’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway aboard Rick Ware Racing’s No. 51 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr., driver of the No. 17 Fifth Third Bank Ford Fusion, is the defending winner of this weekend’s Coke Zero 400. Stenhouse, who is 16th in the current Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series standings, held a press conference this afternoon in the media center.
