MARTIN TRUEX JR. - ON THE OFFSEASON AND HOW THE TIRE TEST HAS GONE SO FAR ...So far it's felt good to be back in the car and it hasn't really been that long. It's felt like yesterday we were on the track racing still, so it felt good to get back out there. It's a Goodyear Tire Test, so we're trying to figure out what tire we need to bring back here in the spring and to be able to put on the best show possible.

Last season, Aric Almirola wasn’t even able to compete in all 36 races due to a back injury he suffered at Kansas. But last November, it was announced that the thirty-three-year-old would get the opportunity of his life. Almirola was introduced as the new driver for the No. 10 car in 2018.

Chip Ganassi Racing (CGR) announced today that long-time racing executive Doug Duchardt has been named Chief Operating Officer of the corporation. Duchardt begins the role effective immediately in preparation for the upcoming 2018 seasons while Max Jones is promoted to Managing Director of the team’s NASCAR Operation joining Mike Hull, Managing Director of the team’s INDYCAR and IMSA Operations.

The Furniture Row Racing driver, who graces the cover in the recent issue of Mile High Sports Magazine, was also named Colorado’s “Fan Favorite” Athlete of the Year in a fan vote conducted at MileHighSports.com.
