Carl Edwards will step out of the No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, and the team will put reigning NASCAR XFINITY Series champion Daniel Suarez in the car, according to multiple reports.

The following is a statement from Texas Motor Speedway President Eddie Gossage on today's report from FOXSports.com that Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series star Carl Edwards is leaving Joe Gibbs Racing to pursue other interests outside of driving and will not compete in 2017.
