Funny things happen in Kansas. One day things might seem normal, but then a twister comes, your house takes off, the neighbor lady goes from riding a bicycle to flying on a broomstick, your abode lands on a witch, and then you get a hung lug nut.

“I think everybody got a glimpse of just how important and how impactful the air is to the race cars," Keselowski said speaking on the wreck. "We just all went down in the corner and the air spun us all out just with the positioning we had. It’s unfortunate, but it is what it is.”

After taking the green flag in the fifth position, Keselowski radioed that his Ford was tight in the center of the corners, especially when running the bottom groove.

Greg Biffle rebounded from an unscheduled trip down pit road for a right-side tire rub after contact with the wall to finish 27th in his No. 16 Ford EcoBoost Ford at Kansas Speedway. Biffle started the race 20th after getting loose in qualifying and that loose handling condition continued to plague him during the race, resulting in the contact with the wall.

Trevor Bayne, driver of the No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Fusion, sustained a flat left-rear tire following contact that led to an unscheduled green-flag pit stop on Lap 72. Despite the loss of track position, Bayne gained 14 positions throughout the remainder of the race to record a 25th-place finish on Saturday night in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) event at Kansas Speedway.

Despite making contact with the outside wall with 35 laps remaining in Saturday night’s GoBowling.com 400 at Kansas Speedway, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. bullied his way back picking up four spots in the final laps to take the checkered flag in the 13th position.

A mechanical issue late in the race crippled a commanding performance by Martin Truex Jr., who led a race high of 172 laps in Saturday night’s Go Bowling 400 Sprint Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway.

Ryan Blaney and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing team powered to a fifth-place finish tonight in the Go Bowling 400 at Kansas Speedway, their best result of the 2016 season.
