Sunday's Goody's 500 will mark Fowler's 2nd career start at the famous paper clip, and his 2nd career NSCS start. The Smyrna, GA native made his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Debut (NSCS) debut in 2014 during the Fall Martinsville event for Go Green Racing finishing 28th, after starting 42nd.

Richard Childress Racing's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series history at Martinsville Speedway ... In 150 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series starts at Martinsville Speedway, Richard Childress Racing has earned four pole awards and posted seven victories with drivers Dale Earnhardt (five times), Ricky Rudd (1983) and Kevin Harvick (2011).
