Ford Performance NASCAR: Harvick Going for Kansas Repeat

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series will headline this weekend’s racing action at Kansas Speedway. Four current Ford Cup drivers have at least one series win at the 1.5-mile speedway while Matt Crafton and Johnny Sauter have victories in the Truck Series.

Ryan Newman – Kansas Advance

Newman will make his 27th Cup start at Kansas on Saturday. In 26 prior starts, Newman has an average finish of 18.5 with seven top-10 and three top-five finishes, along with one win.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – Kansas Advance

As green flag pit-stops began to cycle through in stage three, Pattie chose to long pit keeping Stenhouse out as long as he could in hopes that the SunnyD Ford would have fresher tires if the race stayed green. The strategy call paid off allowing Stenhouse to lead ten laps.
